Stressless® Helsinki is the first recliner built on the new Stressless® Power platform. Designed from the inside out, it establishes a new foundation for how modern seating should look, feel and move.
With clean lines, lightweight materials, and seamless motion, Stressless® Helsinki is a study in balance, where innovation and design meet form and function. From the durable aluminium frame to the unique knitted base layer that instantly adapts to your body, every detail is crafted to deliver lasting comfort with a refined Scandinavian aesthetic.
A unique combination of motorised power and body weight effortlessly creates the Heart Balance position. A natural posture that improves circulation and eases pressure on the body. The BalanceAdapt™ -system is discreetly placed inside the aluminium casting. By responding to your body weight, the built-in tilt function delivers a deeper recline and a soft, floating sensation.
The Stressless® Air platform began with a simple ambition: to create motorised comfort that feels light, intuitive and built for the future. By rethinking motorised seating from the inside out, we chose to make the mechanism disappear, letting the design take the lead.

Stressless® Helsinki is designed with its full lifecycle in mind. Built to last, every component can be disassembled, enabling easy repair, renewal
or recycling. This extends the life of the recliner, reducing
its footprint over time.
The cradle, the platform’s defining element, is made from 90% recycled aluminium, which is lightweight, durable and fully recyclable.
The innovative knitted base layer is made with no-waste production,
using advanced knit technology and specially engineered yarns.
The seamlessly integrated Comfort Zones™ secure pressure relief and adaptive support, eliminating the need for metal springs and minimising the amount of foam needed to create in-depth comfort.
Wood components are FSC®-certified (FSC® C163127), and upholstery
is available in responsibly sourced leathers or fabrics with high proportion of recycled and/or natural fibres.
