Dot Award in the category of Product Design for Furniture.

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the most globally respected design competitions, recognizing outstanding achievements in product and industrial design since 1955.

Managed by Red Dot CEO Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the award has become a renowned international seal of design quality.

Each entry is evaluated by a juror panel of 39 experts, including designers, professors, and industry journalists based on four key criteria:
• Function
• Emotions (the power of seduction)
• Usability
• Responsibility

2025 Red Dot competition saw thousands of entries from over 60 countries. Winning among such strong global competition highlights the exceptional innovation and quality embedded in the Stressless® Adam.

“Made In Norway” for Stressless®

Stressless® has received the “Made in Norway” designation—a mark of origin and excellence for high-quality, Norwegian-made products.

“Made in Norway” is a certification awarded to companies whose products or solutions reflect strong Norwegian values in production, ethics, and sustainability. It serves as a symbol of trust, authenticity, and quality for both domestic and international markets.

To qualify for the label, a product must meet the following overarching criteria:
• Fulfill the origin requirements as defined by the certification body
• Demonstrate compliance with responsible business practices
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential negative impact on people, society, and the environment
• Maintain ethical business guidelines
• Contribute to at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, without significantly harming any of the EU’s six environmental objectives
