The blue hour, a favorite among landscape photographers, offers a brief, tranquil interlude. Lasting around twenty minutes just before sunrise and following sunset, it occurs when the sun hovers just below the horizon.

This casts a serene blue shade over everything, a result of Rayleigh scattering, an optical phenomenon. The effect is particularly striking in winter landscapes, where both snow and sky absorb this rich blue tint, creating breathtaking scenes.

For those unable to witness this natural spectacle firsthand, incorporating these blue hues indoors can evoke a similar sense of calm. Blue, a timeless and enduring choice in interior design, has been increasingly popular.
