Stressless® Ambassador Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE.

The Ambassador Program described below (“Program”) rewards people who have previously purchased a Stressless ® product, have received an email Invitation (defined below) from Ekornes Pty Limited ABN 85 139 174 342 (“us”, “we”, “our“) to participate in the Program (“Ambassador”) and who refer their Friends (defined below) to make a Qualifying Purchase (defined below).

These Terms and Conditions operate in addition to any other agreement between us and each of the Ambassadors, Registered Friends (defined below) and the Participating Retailers (defined below), including the Terms of Website Use and our Privacy Policy.

Particulars of the Program

  1. Ambassador Registration: Each person who receives an email from us to participate in the Program (“Invitation”) will receive in the Invitation a unique sharing link (“Link”). Sharing the Link with another person is deemed acceptance by the Ambassador of these Terms and Conditions.

     

  2. Share the Link: An Ambassador may share the Link with their friends and family who they reasonably think will appreciate receiving the Link (“Friends”). An Ambassador must not publish the Link to any website, or any social media platform designed to publicise the Link to multiple people at the same time.

     

  3. Friend Registration: A Friend who receives the Link, may use the Link to register their details with us (“Registered Friend”). Upon registration as a Registered Friend, a Registered Friend will receive a voucher by email which may be utilised at a retailer which stocks Stressless® products and agreed to participate on the Program* (“Participating Retailer”) to purchase a single Stressless ® Recliner, Home Office or Sofa product or at least 4 Dining chairs in excess of $1,500 in value which is not subject to a sale or other promotion (“Qualifying Purchase”) within 6 months from the date of the email containing the voucher (“Relevant Period”). A Registered Friend may only receive one voucher under this Program. A voucher is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash or any other value. A voucher may only be used in a Participating Retailer’s physical store and may not be used in respect of a clearance item. We reserve the right to issue other terms and conditions in relation to a voucher. Registration by a Registered Friends is deemed acceptance by the Friend of these Terms and Conditions.
    *Please note: Domayne Stores as well as certain other retailers are not Participating Retailers for the purposes of this program.

     

  4. Friend makes a Purchase: If a Registered Friend makes a Qualifying Purchase from a Participating Retailer within the Relevant Period, shows the email containing the voucher to the Participating Retailer and makes payment in full, the Participating Retailer shall notify us by email of the Qualifying Purchase (together with receipt for the sale) within 5 Business Days after the 14th day after the Qualifying Purchase, provided that the Registered Friend does not return any product the subject of the Qualifying Purchase during that 14-day period.

     

  5. We notify the Ambassador: Upon being notified of a Qualifying Purchase by the Participating Retailer, we will send an email to the Ambassador with instructions in relation to the redemption of a $AUD100 prepaid MasterCard reward card (administered by Prepaid Digital Solutions or other third party selected by us from time to time). The Ambassador may be required to provide certain information to the third party administering the prepaid MasterCard reward card and to agree to any terms and conditions of that third party before being eligible to receive the prepaid MasterCard reward card. The prepaid MasterCard reward card is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash or any other form of credit.

Eligibility

In addition to the qualifications set out above:

  • an Ambassador:
    • must be an Australian resident at all relevant times;
    • must not be our employee or an employee of a Participating Retailer.
  • A Registered Friend must not:
    • be an Ambassador;
    • reside in the same residence as an Ambassador;
    • be a person who has made a purchase a Stressless ® product since 1 January 2022; or
    • reside in the same residence as a person who has made a purchase of a Stressless ® product since 1 January 2022.

Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate the Program or an Ambassador’s, a Registered Friend’s or Participating Retailer’s ability to participate in the Program at any time for any reason. We will not enter into any correspondence in regard to any decision made in respect of the Program.

Update to these Terms and Conditions and the Program

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. If we modify these Terms and Conditions, we will post the modifications on our website, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Program after any modification to these Terms and Conditions shall constitute consent to such modification.
