- Here in Norway, the days are short, and daylight lasts only a few hours. And although we Norwegians love to ski, we spend far more hours indoors than the rest of the year. I guess that goes for the rest of the world as well. Then, it's nice to have something warm to rest your eyes on in the interior. This year, earthy colors dominate the trend scene. Rich, saturated colors remind you of the warmer season. In this year's collection, we have a large palette of colors drawing inspiration from soil, clay, vegetation, stone, and rust. Two of my favorites are Paloma Mushroom and Thyme Green, says Muri.

Sure, winter is beautiful. The cool season offers colourful sunsets and the clear, beautiful light that you can only experience at the end and beginning of the year. But there's no denying that the cold and darkness can also dampen your mood and energy. Fortunately, there are some small, simple steps you can take to counter the winter blues. You can literally start from your own sofa. Our own trend expert, Janne Muri, swears by the transformative power of warm hues all year round.
